Below we have three simple steps you must follow to make your sofa like new and the best; Using homemade ingredients!
STEP ONE:
Wipe the couch! The first step in the sofa cleaning process is to vacuum it to remove debris and dust. It is a good idea to do this weekly to avoid any allergies created by the dust. In addition, if you have a pet and it also shares your comfortable sofa, vacuuming becomes necessary!
STEP TWO:
Remove the stench! If you use the sofa a lot, odors are created over time which will certainly not be pleasant at all. So you can easily eliminate odors and give your sofa a sense of freshness. How will you achieve this? All you need to do is sprinkle baking soda on the couch and leave it on for half an hour. Then you take the vacuum cleaner and wipe away the soda residue.
STEP THREE
Remove the stains! And now we have come to the most difficult part which is removing the stains from our beloved sofa. Depending on how difficult the stain is, you use different materials to treat it. In any case, it is good when a stain is created to be cleaned immediately and not to let it dry and soak into the fabric of the sofa. Below are two home recipes for effective stain removal.
1) VINEGAR AND WATER
When the stain is not difficult you can use water and white vinegar. These two simple ingredients are enough to remove the stain from the sofa. How to clean the sofa with vinegar and water? The process you follow is very simple. First you add equal amounts of water and white vinegar in a sprayer and then spray the spot where the stain is. Then wait 2-3 minutes and rub the stain with a clean cloth and let it dry well so that no moisture is created.
2) SODA, VINEGAR AND WATER
For the most difficult and demanding stains, the ingredients we will use are baking soda, white vinegar and warm water. All you have to do is mix 5 tablespoons of white vinegar, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 glass of warm water. Use a large bowl because the ingredients of this mixture react with each other and create foam. Once the mixture is ready, pour it into a sprayer and spray the stain. Leave it on for 30 seconds and then clean the spot with a clean cloth or towel.
