A sofa bed is the most practical answer for small living rooms and studios in Cyprus: comfortable seating by day, a proper bed for you or your guests by night. One piece of furniture doing two jobs, without sacrificing your living room or your sleep.
How much space you really need
First measure the wall the sofa will sit against, then the free space in front of it. A two-seater sofa bed usually needs 160 to 200 centimetres of length, and opens out to 190 to 220 centimetres. Keep at least 60 centimetres of free walkway around it so it opens comfortably. In a Limassol or Nicosia studio where every square metre counts, this simple measurement saves you from the wrong purchase.
Which mechanism suits you
The two main types are the click clack, where the backrest drops flat in seconds, and the pull-out, where the seat slides forward. Click clack is the fastest for everyday use. Many models also hide storage under the seat, ideal for pillows, sheets and blankets, so making the bed takes a minute.
Everyday sleeping or hosting guests?
If you will sleep on it every night, choose a model with a firm, even sleeping surface and a fabric built for daily use. If it is mainly for guests, you have more freedom in the design and can prioritise seating comfort. You can try them in person at our showroom, by appointment.
Fabric and cleaning
